Bonus features

I'm about to launch the first book of the sfxfantasy series on its own. For that, I included a bonus feature, Sarah's Journal at the end of it. It's a glimpse of Sarah's life before A Warrior's Death.

Each of the 3 books will be launched separately with an additional feature not found in A Warrior's Death trilogy.

The 2nd book, Lost In Another Realm will have a bonus feature, Sarah's thoughts, set after the story ends, but before the start of the 3rd book. It sort of links the 2 books as book 3 starts abruptly. I just finished writing it today.

The 3rd book, The Dark Warriors has a bonus feature set 9 years after the story ends. I originally intended to put that scene in another book, but thought it'll fit in nicely at the end of book 3. It is a fun story that shows their lives after A Warrior's Death.

The cover for book 1 is ready. I'll hold the global distribution until after my editor goes through these 3 bonus features. Once she okays them, I'll start the global distribution for Warrior Girl rolling.

Thinking of the next part of the series

The next generation of warriors has come to life in my imagination.

One is the new character that appears at the end of the trilogy. The other would be his best friend to be introduced at the start of the next story.

I still haven't got this book up the ground. Haven't even got a copy of my book in hand yet as my order status at Lulu is fulfilling. I need to see a printed copy before I can approve of its global distribution. This entire process is so SLOW. By the time this book is in global distribution, I'd probably have the next series ready for publication.

To ease my impatient imagination, I'll write flash fiction set between books 1, 2 and 3 and between chapters in these books. Stuff like the things that happened during Sarah's training as a stealth, or a brand new elite warrior? Or about the things that happened before the start of the trilogy. Those could be published in short story collections or in magazines.

I write for the love of writing. Can't last long if no sales are made. Got to figure out how to market this series.

Any suggestions?
